HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Sometimes, the best stories begin in the most ordinary places. Ours began in Pennsylvania during the height of COVID, when the world was consumed by chaos and inventing TikTok dances. When we first met, neither of us expected a simple conversation to change our lives. Our first date lasted for hours, and Sean nearly missed his flight for an international trip because we simply couldn’t stop talking.
EVERY LOVE STORY BEGINS SOMEWHERE
From that first date, something just clicked. Beyond our shared background and culture, we quickly discovered that we shared the same sense of humor, love for family, and appetite for adventure. Just a few months after meeting, we took our first trip to Puerto Rico with family and friends. And during that trip, we realized we could happily do this for a lifetime. Traveling soon became a special part of our relationship. Each adventure gave us another story, another place to remember, and another reason to be grateful we found each other. Then came Thailand. On March 31, 2023, Sean proposed, and Kim said yes. Later that year, we celebrated our traditional Nigerian wedding surrounded by family and loved ones on December 22, 2023. Since then, we’ve celebrated countless milestones together—from completing medical training and moving states to exploring new places and navigating everything in between. With our relationship rooted in love, family, and a shared passion for exploring the world, a destination wedding in Mexico felt only fitting. We’re so happy to have you here to celebrate this next chapter with us.

Frequently Asked Questions
What airport should I fly into?
Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres is family-friendly and welcomes children. However, TRS Coral is an adults-only resort. Please note that the wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only due to space restrictions.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to the logistics of a destination wedding, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, they are welcome! If you're unsure about who is included in your invitation, please reach out to us.
What are the recommended travel dates?
While you are welcome to stay as long as you like, the resorts requires a minimum of 2 nights stay. We recommend arriving 1-2 days before the wedding. If you choose to arrive thew day before the wedding ceremony, please try to arrive by mid-day for pre-wedding activities.
Do I have to stay at the resort?
Yes. To be part of our wedding celebration, all guests are required to stay at the resort.
What currency should I bring?
The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican peso, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted in many tourist areas. Credit and debit cards are also commonly accepted. We recommend carrying a small amount of cash for tips and smaller purchases.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. All guests traveling internationally to Mexico will need a valid passport and must meet Mexico's entry requirements based on their nationality. Please make sure your passport is valid well before your trip and check the current entry requirements before traveling. Regarding visas, any valid, unexpired visa stamped in your passport from the US, Canada, Japan, the UK, or a Schengen country will permit you to enter Mexico (please confirm this on their website).
